Interested in electric vehicle technology? Join us for a site visit to Kempower, followed by an opportunity to network with Kempower representatives and a discussion of all things EV.

Location: Kempower, 2530 South Tricenter Boulevard, Durham, NC 27713

Duke students, join us for an exclusive tour of Kempower’s new 154,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Durham, their first North American location. Get an inside look at their innovative DC fast-charging solutions for electric vehicles and machines. After the tour, hear from Kempower representatives in a panel discussion covering EV market trends, the company’s culture, and exciting career opportunities in the rapidly expanding EV industry. Featured speakers will range from Kempower’s product development, sales, engineering, and HR teams. This event is sponsored by the Nicholas Institute for Energy, Environment & Sustainability.

 

Buses will depart at 9:15 AM from the Chapel Parking Lot. Please wear closed-toed shoes during the visit for safety reasons. By participating in this event, you consent to the recording and publication of photographs and videos of you for informational purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the event organizers.

 

Please note that photography is not permitted inside the facility. Open to current Duke students only. This event is limited-capacity and in person only.
